  • in a way, i'm addicted to the sunrise :3

yes.  pretty much every day since the start of summer i've been rather nocturnal so i be up at 3 in the morning and watch the sun get up from my room, which has this gorgeous view of the old-style house next door and my backyard.  watching the sun rise does something strange to me...like it puts me in this incredibly goood mood.  it's like it turns the oppressive dark of night, which i have no problem with, into this cool, breezy fertile looking morning---it just makes me smile really widely to think about how ridiculous it is.  but it's a great feeling.  i have nothing to pressure me, life is good.  life is just.....really, really good.  it's not perfect, but i don't mind right now not having perfect.  it's good.  it's just bleeping beautiful.  especially when you listen to the birds in the morning.  it's a happy thing.

    excellent.

thats adorable, I like towards the end of fall early spring--since i ride the shuttle to campus and i can never seem to escape early classes, i get to watch the sunrise on the ride there.

I go out jogging as its going down too--I'll jog out and walk back so that i can enjoy the peaceful sun set as im engulfed in endorphins lol.

@houston64 - hahah thank you for saying it's adorable.  isn't it the best feeling? those moments between the sun being up and the sun being not visible :P lol.  i looove when the sky turns orangey in the afternoon and blue grey in the mornin.
"engulfed in endorphins" thats the perfect way to put it ;)

yeah, i also enjoy when the sky slowly blends from a dark midnight blue into the deep black as you roll from one direction to the opposite.

Use to live 10 minutes from a white sand beach on the gulf.  My family would go all the time, several towards the late afternoon.  Watching the sun set across the water water was magnificent, especially when it was calm.
